Established in 1923, we are a Manufacturer's Representative firm covering Upstate New York and New England with product lines specializing in Steam Specialties, HVAC & Plumbing equipment, Energy Products, and Industrial Process Controls.
We currently have an outside sales position available to cover an established territory
in Eastern New York (Albany).
Individual will be responsible for operating their established sales territory in a manner consistent with general business management principles to yield profitable sales and sales growth.
Responsibilities also require the candidate to meet or exceed annual sales, profit margin goals, and work towards developing all customers as repeat customers.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of heat transfer, steam equipment, HVAC and process applications.

Strong business to business selling skills are essential, as they greatly enhance the ability to reach key decision makers through whom an increased market share for new and existing products and services can be developed; We believe the following competencies are critical to success - strong Customer Focus, ability to Communicate at all levels, positive impact where confidence is demonstrated while commanding attention and respect, Organizational and Planning skills, Leadership, Multitask Ability, High Energy and strong Presentation skills. A strong understanding of Steam Systems is a big plus.
Desired but not required:
A degree in Engineering or a related field; experience selling a technical or industrial related product line; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in HVAC utility applications and heat transfer.
Experience in the field of instrumentation related to controls.
Five years proven track record in business-to-business selling experience with an emphasis in new account sales.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar Sales Contact Management application.
